Reconnecting

Kuvissa on tammikuussa ja helmikuun alussa saapuneita kirjeitä sekä yksi paketti. En ollut kuullut näistä kirjekavereista kuukausiin ja vuoden alussa tulikin sitten useampi kirje. Syksy oli selvästi monelle kiireistä aikaa. Itselläni on ollut myös hektinen vuoden alku, mutta toivottavasti ehdin pian vastailemaan loppuihin näistä kirjeistä.

Free Reverse Coloring Pages

  Reverse coloring page of flowers and leaves. There's a new trend in coloring. Reverse coloring. The beginning of the trend seems to be The Reverse Coloring book by Kendra Norton  (affiliate link).  The coloring pages of a reverse coloring book are usually more or less abstract watercolor paintings. So the coloring page already has the colors and you draw the lines. If you want to color on the go, you could only bring the coloring book and one pen for drawing the lines. But you could also use a variety of supplies. Different sizes of pens and markers for varying line thicknesses. Different colors of supplies. Paint markers. How to Transfer Sketch onto Painting Surface

As I've mentioned before, I don't usually draw my sketches for paintings straight onto watercolor paper or canvas. I draw the sketch on a separate paper, where it's easier to erase and clean up the outlines and then transfer the finished sketch onto my painting surface. In this  blog post I'll list five different methods to transfer your drawing onto the painting surface. They're all either cheap or completely free. Some require a computer or other technology and some don't. So hopefully, if you're struggling with how to transfer your sketches, one of these methods (or a combination of some of them) will suite your budget and the supplies you already have available.
