A Letter and Why Not to Worry

Image
Sain Singaporesta todella nopean vastauksen kirjeeseeni . My Singaporean penpal answered really fast and I got this reply letter already at the end of January, only about two weeks after sending her a letter . She also included a cute drawing - a cat version of Lord of the Rings - and a diagram telling us why we shouldn't worry. They have such beautiful stamps in Singapore, by the way.

Postcrossing Bears and Writing in Russian

I started studying Russian in January and thought I could practice writing Russian by sending a Postcrossing card to Russia. I figured I'd probably get a Russian address on the first or second try because that's what usually happens. But not this time. I got addresses to Germany and the US. ...but the American postcrosser did have Russian listed in his languages in his profile so it worked out fine anyway.  Bears to Germany.   And a winter landscape to the US.  I hate the smudges on my camera lens. Colorful Postcrossings

Last year I stopped blogging Postcrossing cards after the middle of April so here are some cards that I received back in May.  Owls from Germany.  Another card from Germany. Colorful buildings from Portugal. This is the only card I've gotten from Portugal so far and the second one from a Portuguese speaking country. I hope to get more some day now that I'm studying Portuguese.   From Belarus.  Cows from Ireland. Egyptian holiday card from Russia.    This card from the US came with a lot of pretty stamps.
